Puntayacu Solar Hybrid System

EnerTek designed and installed a 15 kW off grid hybrid solar PV-diesel system for an electrical substation in San Ramon, Chanchamayo.

The system provides power 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, and supplies energy to critical electrical loads in the substation, including motors, isolating switches and tripping coils. It also minimizes environmental impacts and generates significant diesel fuel savings, as the generator is only needed on rainy days or in emergencies.

The system includes the following:

  • 7.8 kW solar photovoltaic array
  • 48 kWh battery storage
  • 7.2 kW backup generator
  • Real time digital display and monitoring
