In April 2015, EnerTek designed and installed a rooftop 2.8 kW grid-connected solar PV system at Colegio Roosevelt in Lima, Peru.

The system was installed to power one of Roosevelt’s classrooms, and includes 2.8 kWp of panels, 10.6 kWh of battery storage and a real time monitoring system with online access. Lighting occupancy sensors were installed in the classroom to reduce the overall energy consumption.

The solar PV system generates approximately 2300 kWh in savings and results in a reduction of 2 tons of CO2 per year. A time lapse video of the installation can be seen here.
